At SPAC’s meeting on February 28th, we were pleased to welcome Deanna Brugger, Program Manager of the New Jersey chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. Deanna presented the Talk Saves Lives program, which covers the warning signs of suicide and offers guidance on how to talk to individuals who may be considering suicide.
On September 14, 2023, the Junior League of Morristown, led by their SPAC delegate, participated in the Out of the Darkness Walk organized by the Morris County chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention, in support of SPAC’s advocacy on this critical issue.
Substance Use Disorder is a treatable mental health condition. In 2017, we participated in the Opioid Roundtable at the Junior League of Monmouth County.
